Junior Farmers of Ontario attend GROWMARK Annual Meeting

KITCHENER, ONTTARIO--Brenda Lennox of Orton and Ellen Batchelor 
of Dundalk represented Ontario youth at GROWMARK's Annual Meeting 
in Chicago earlier this month. Both women represent Junior 
Farmers Association of Ontario (JFAO).  

Each year, GROWMARK provides travel opportunities to exemplary 
youth that have shown dedication to Ontario youth development. 
Chosen youth, travel to Chicago to learn more about the 
co-operative and network with GROWMARK business people and other 
young leaders. As part of their experience, Lennox and Batchelor 
along with other Ontario youth from 4-H Ontario and the Ontario 
Co-operative Association Co-op Young Leaders Program, 
participated in the annual meeting's Grand Entry opening 
ceremonies.  

Ellen Batchelor is executive director of communications for 
Junior Farmers of Ontario and Brenda Lennox is provincial 
director, University of Guelph for the young farmer organization.
